Inception & Conceptualization


The journey of Varak, a premium gourmet mithai brand, began with the desire to merge the elegance of artisanal Indian sweets with a contemporary, luxurious aesthetic. Our first step was understanding the deep cultural roots of mithai recipes, while reimagining them for a modern audience. The brand’s vision was clear: to elevate the humble mithai into a refined indulgence without losing its traditional essence.

Brand Identity & Logo Design

One of the initial challenges was to create a visual identity that reflected both tradition and modernity. We began by choosing a sophisticated colour palette of gold and beige, capturing the luxury and warmth of the sweets while maintaining an elegant, timeless feel. The custom logo was crafted to emphasize this blend of tradition and modernity, representing Varak’s commitment to high-quality ingredients and craftsmanship.

Packaging & Photography


The next step was creating packaging that would stand out while paying homage to the history of mithai. We infused a subtle French touch, combining minimalist design elements with intricate details to mirror the finesse of the sweets inside. The packaging was crafted to evoke a sense of refinement and sophistication, appealing to modern sensibilities while respecting the heritage of Indian craftsmanship. Each shoot captured the brand’s luxurious nature, using soft, elegant lighting and modern props to showcase the traditional sweets in a contemporary light.


Social Media Strategy


As part of Varak’s journey, building a strong social media presence was essential to connecting with the right audience. We focused on consistency and quality, sharing beautifully shot images of the mithais, behind-the-scenes glimpses of the crafting process, and the unique stories behind each recipe. Engaging content, strategic hashtags, and collaborations helped grow the brand’s following to nearly 10K—building a loyal community of followers who resonate with the brand’s story and aesthetic.

From its inception to the present, Varak has transformed into a brand that beautifully balances luxury with tradition. Through a strong, cohesive identity, visually captivating packaging, and a growing social media presence, Varakcontinues to reach new heights. The brand now stands as a testament to how merging the old with the new can create something truly unique, while maintaining respect for the legacy of Indian mithai.
